Time is provided for journaling of these placement experiences, which requires the student to demonstrate a mature reflective approach to Christian Ministry in generality and in specifics.

Dissertation

Students write a dissertation of 8,000 words on a subject relating to their particular interests or career expectations (and hence to their placements). Dissertation subjects are agreed by negotiation with staff.

Teaching and Assessments

Taught units are largely assessed by production of written work comprising 3,000 words per 10 credits. In some units an end of year examination forms part of the assessment. Marking is normally done anonymously for taught units.
