CLIFF COLLEGE IS CURRENTLY ADVERTISING FOR TWO NEW POSTS, AS LISTED BELOW;

 

Academic Dean.

Cliff College is advertising for a new Academic Dean to start in September 2014, with an earlier start date desirable.

Main Responsibilities

  • To be the academic lead for the College and be the College's main point of contact with the University of Manchester, the QAA, Hefce and other academic bodies.

  • To lead and line manage the Faculty, Academic Registrar and Librarian.

  • To give academic oversight and direction to the College's academic

    provision, along with the Programme Leaders.

  • To have other senior administrative and management responsibilities.

  • To be part of a team teaching across all Cliff College programmes

  • To supervise research students.

    You will have a PhD and/or very significant experience of teaching, administration and management in Higher Education. You can be lay or ordained. For a ministerial appointment (in the Methodist Church or another denomination in communion with the Methodist Church), the Methodist stipend and allowances will apply. A lay appointment will be in the region of £33,500 pa from 1 Sep 2014.

Lecturer in Evangelism, Mission and Ministry.

The College is advertising for a Lecturer in Evangelism, Mission and Ministry with an anticipated June - Sep 2014 start.

Lecturer in Evangelism, Mission and Ministry

  • To be part of a team teaching in the general areas of evangelism, mission and ministry on the BA in Mission and Ministry programme, and across other College programmes.

  • You will contribute to the Faculty and the wider life of the College.

    You will have at least a relevant master's level qualification and have practical experience of evangelism, mission and ministry. You can be lay or ordained. For a ministerial appointment (in the Methodist Church or another denomination in communion with the Methodist Church), the Methodist stipend and allowances will apply. A lay appointment will be in the region of approx. £33,500 pa from 1 Sep 2014.
