Ian White
Lecturer in Children, and Youth AND THRID AGE Ministry
Ian acts as the Programme Leader for our developing stream of part-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Children, Youth and Third Age Ministry. He is the Course Director for the diploma courses in Children Mission and Ministry, Youth Mission and Ministry, and Third Age Mission and Ministry, which lead onto the the BA (Hons) in Mission and Ministry. He also has imput into the MA units in Children and Youth, and haeds up and is developing the Summer School Programme (see Short Term courses). He is currently exploring academic possibilities for the College in the Middle East focussed on Jerusalem. He has special interests in culture, social justice, Christian leadership and ministry, spirituality and discipleship. As another part of his life, and supported by Cliff College, Ian heads up Micah68, a Christian charity offering support to the people of the Middle East. This ministry focusses on advocacy, friendship and prasctical support for as variety of projects across the region.
In the other half of his life, and supported by Cliff College, Ian acts as the Development Co-ordinator for Highway Projects, a Christian charity offering short-term mission opportunities for young adults in the Middle East.
