Cliff College Scheduled for QAA Review

Cliff College has received confirmation that the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education has scheduled us for a Review for educational oversight during 2012.

This review process is part of the new regulations for private colleges seeking to continue to welcome students who require visas in order to study in this country.

Cliff College Response to the Fruitful Field Consultation

Cliff College has now submitted a response to the Fruitful Field consultation. The College acknowledges the importance of the vision presented in the consultation document and offers alternative proposals to fulfill the aims and objectives of that vision. Fruitful Field Consultation

The Methodist Church is currently reviewing all of its training provision under the heading of “The Fruitful Field”. Cliff College, which works ecumenically, but is owned by the Methodist Church, is included in that review process.

The recently published consultation document sets out a range of proposals for discussion, including the idea that, at some point in the future, the new vision for training would gather a range of institutions together in order “to establish a single connexional hub on one site”.

The College Chairman and I have written to all those who are on the “Cliff Today” mailing list to inform them of the consultation process and to indicate how responses can be made to the proposals contained in the consultation document. A copy of our letter and of the report itself can be downloaded from this page.

We live in fast changing times in the world of Higher Education and the College looks forward to continuing to serve God and the Christian community as we further develop our already exciting range of courses in mission and evangelism.
