MA in Mission (Children)

The programme in Children's Mission is for people who want to explore the creative new ways of missionally engaging with children and youth people in our contemporary culture. This programme is designed for lay or ordained persons, from all traditions, who are interested in examining, assessing and leading such initiatives in mission through the discipline of postgraduate level study and personal research.

This programme can be taken in a number of ways; as Certificate, Diploma or MA, full time or part time and is part of a larger programme offering further streams in Youth and Children & Youth.

Depending on which stream you take, there are either two or three compulsory units, with one or two optional units.

The three five-day residential taught units cover children's mission, youth mission and a unit that shares additional themes common to both children's and youth mission.

Any of these units can be taken as optional units if following any of the other MA streams.

Each unit is assessed by a 6000-7000 word assignment or equivent.

If you are looking for a programme that brings an emphasis upon the privileges, pressures and challenges facing Christians in the vocation of mission and evangelism among children today, then this is the one for you!
