Bible Society support welcomed

26/11/2013

We are very pleased to announce the support of the Bible Society in the development of the new Creative Arts Mission and Ministry diploma. A gift recognising the creative aspect of the course has enabled the college to further resource student learning in the library, as well as allow new developments in terms of student field trips within the first year of the course. We look forward to working alongside the Bible Society, and invite Cliff supporters to check out the great resources and opportunities to engage with the Bible that this organisation has on offer. One of those opportunities is The Pitch, a really creative opportunity for film makers to enter a competition and pitch for a chance to do some work in Hollywood!

"The Pitch is a competition, offering the opportunity to make a short film with professional production support worth in excess of £20,000. To enter is simple, pitch us your Bible-based short film concept. If you win we will make your film and take you to Hollywood.

We’ll introduce you to producer Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic Four) and other professionals who’ll watch your film and give you hints and tips on taking your skills to the next level.

  • Pitch-based film competition
  • Suitable for those 18 years and over
  • An opportunity to network with emerging and established film makers
  • The Pitch offers production costs for a short film to the winner
  • Creative and original engagement with the Bible"
