Peter Ensor has ministered and taught internationally for many years. After studying at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, he served in two Methodist Circuits from 1977 to 1984. He then joined the staff of St. Paul's United Theological College, Limuru, Kenya, from 1985 to 1998. He gained a Ph.D. from Aberdeen University in 1993 and was Principal of St. Paul's from 1994 to 1998. Handing this role on to a Kenyan, he then taught at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Kumba, Cameroon from 1999 to 2003. On returning to UK he was the superintendent of the Poynton and Hazel Grove Methodist Circuit from 2003 to 2008 before being appointed the Director of Undergraduate Studies at Cliff. Peter now teaches New Testament, Greek and Early Church History in the full-time undergraduate programme and is the Diploma Programme Leader.
