Sabbatical Programmes
When considering options for your sabbatical, Cliff College is able to offer attractive opportunities to study and reflect in a stimulating academic community set amid the wonders of the Peak District.
Depending on how you want to spend your time, Cliff College is able to offer a range of flexible options for study, research and reflection or create a programme specific to your requirements. This can be built around our increasing number of MA module options in the areas of mission, evangelism, leadership, renewal, mentoring, Celtic mission, youth and children's ministry, religious pluralism and emerging church.
You can stay for as long or as short as you wish, but an option to consider is taking in one or more of the MA intensive teaching residential blocks. You would take these without the need for university registration or submission of an assignment. The cost per unit, including your meals and accommodation, is approximately £250.
You would join between 10 and 25 MA students in an intensive five-day course on the particular subject delivered by Cliff College academics and nationally renowned figures in each specific area. You would have access to the Cliff College library and computer facilities and participate in as much or as little of the life of Cliff College as you wished during your stay.
In addition to postgraduate opportunities detailed below the college runs an exciting Summer School programme, which includes 5 streams of teaching on Bible, worship, Theology, Wesley and Hebrew in June 2013. For more details please click here to go to the Summer School page.
It is also possible to take a combination of postgraduate and undergraduate modules. It is possible to come for as little as one week to follow a particular course, or perhaps three weeks to take in two courses either side of an independent study week, or five weeks with three modules and two independent study weeks, or indeed for the full sabbatical period.
