Study Skills Postgraduate online course part i : Study skills

Part I of the study skills material for all students comprises several downloadable documents in pdf format. After you have completed looking over all the documents please complete the ‘study skills check list’ (see below). This acts as confirmation that you have gone through all the material on these pages.

Foundation Study Skills

This material introduces skills and techniques that provide a basis for your study. The mastering of these will enable effective engagement with further material. The converse is also true. Failure to follow the broad guidelines here will make it very difficult for you to successfully apply the material in subsequent parts of this course.

Cliff College Regulations for Academic Writing 

This material will introduce the student to the academic style of Cliff College: referencing, footnotes, spacing and other vital information. Papers not following this format will lose marks.
