Following continuing success we are pleased to be offering again this hugely popular short course which is designed especially for those on internships, Gap years, and exploring further study, who have all taken this course in the past. But anyone is welcome to join us. The course is offered alongside our partners Time for God and is an ideal course to reflect on the key areas of Christian mission.
Here’s what some previous participants have to say about the course:
‘Big impact! So challenging and a great way to love God with my mind!’ ; ‘The week has encouraged me to delve deeper into Scripture.’; ‘It re-centred me on God.’; ‘It’s helped me to think more about things to take back to my placement.’
We are delighted to be working with our partner organisation, Time for God:
‘TfG are delighted to enter into a partnership with trusted and learned colleagues at Cliff College. The college’s strong Christian heritage, ecumenical approach and the short courses on offer provide a relevant and stimulating opportunity for our volunteers’ to deepen their understanding of themselves and Christian service. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.’ – Paul Webster, Director TfG
Delivered alongside our partner organisation Time for God, the course is intended for anyone who is on a gap year or intern programme and wants to gain experience in reflecting theologically and biblically on their mission practice as a Christian.
It is a great time to reflect on your own spiritual growth and journey and how you are working out that life in terms of active and engaged mission. The course will enable those involved in various forms of practical mission and ministry to relate scripture to their practice, and it will teach you both practical skills for working in a ministry setting and help you think through the theological implications of your work. There will be times to worship and prayer, as well as learning and laughter.
