Cliff College, situated in Calver in the Hope Valley, is a a busy College with a 50 bed conference centre and student accommodation for 30 residential students. We operate a seven day a week operation, catering for a wide range of customers including students, staff, conferences and other guests. We also have a number of special events throughout the year including graduation, Christmas and Cliff Festival.
We are seeking a general assistant to join our kitchen team. This is a role at the heart of our operation and you will contribute to our ongoing success. You'll be working in a small friendly team and sharing your passion as a foodie. You will be assisting with food preparation and serving as well as a range of cleaning and washing up duties. You'll be able to handle a busy service and work alongside the other chefs. This position is an opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in the hospitality and catering industry.
The position is full-time, but applications for part-time work will be considered. The role includes some weekend work but no late finishes, and pays £10.90 per hour. Cliff College is a Living Wage Foundation employer.
