Hiring: Vice-Principal for Mission

Cliff College are seeking to appoint a full-time Vice-Principal for Mission, who will be responsible for the missional and community life of the College.

Cliff College, located in the Peak District, has been training people in evangelism and mission since 1903. Today it continues in its mission to equip the church in evangelism and mission through a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, a wide selection of short courses, an annual Festival, partnerships with other institutions globally and churches locally and a busy conference centre and leisure business.

Cliff is now seeking to appoint to the new role of Vice-Principal for Mission. This is a new post for a creative, energetic, and collaborative leader, and offers a rare opportunity within theological education to share and to shape key delivery in the current priorities of both The Methodist Church and Cliff College.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an experienced practitioner of mission
  • is a theological educator
  • is highly collaborative and an effective communicator
  • has the capacity to work skilfully in diverse, multi-cultural and fast-changing contexts.
  • is willing to play a key role in the life of Cliff College.

This role is a full-time, permanent position.

Salary: £42,000-45,000.
