The Revd Graham Thompson, President of the Methodist Conference 2022/2023 began training to be a Chartered Accountant following High School until he heard God's call to be a minister. He began ministerial training in Bristol in 1983 and served in the Bristol (Kingswood), Newark & Southwell and North Walsham & Aylsham Circuits until 2003. He then became Chair of the East Anglia District and in 2014 became Chair of the Plymouth & Exeter District until 2022. He is married to Alison and currently living in Norfolk. He has two sons, two grandchildren and his interests include Tax Returns, baseball and modern novels.
