Carole started working for Cliff College in 2023 as our Community Warden. Originally from Burnley, Carole studied Music and Classics at Keele University and then Contextual Theology at Northern College, Manchester. She is an ordained URC minister and has served in churches in Stockport, South Lakes and Shrewsbury. Carole is particularly interested in community engagement, exploring expressions of spirituality that complement traditional church and using music and the arts in worship, mission and outreach.
Carole is married to Rob and has two daughters. She is a semi-professional instrumentalist (brass and woodwind), conductor and teacher with a love of brass banding. She loves being outdoors, especially swimming and walking, and enjoys both making and eating cake.
