David is a Methodist minister, currently working and living in Shetland with his wife Becca as well as their son, tortoise and cat. Throughout his own studies, David developed a passion for the Old Testament, especially the book of Esther, which formed the subject of his PhD, with a specific focus on intertextuality between Esther and the New Testament. In his spare time, David enjoys nature and wildlife photography around Shetland on the calmer days of weather and reading or playing the piano on the rougher ones.
