Jenny is the Tutor for the Children, Youth, and Families Track of the BA programme, where she equips students to faithfully and thoughtfully engage in ministry conversations and practices with young people and families. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Jenny has also completed one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, and earned a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from The Center for Spiritual Formation in Carlisle, PA. These experiences have shaped her deep commitment to spiritual formation, pastoral care, and intentional listening.
Having worked in children, youth, and family ministry for nearly a decade, Jenny is passionate about embodying and educating others in the way of Christ—a way marked by love, goodness, and hope. Her approach integrates theological depth with practical experience, encouraging students to become reflective, compassionate, and active leaders in their context. She values ecumenical and interfaith work as she has a range of experience in many faith traditions.
In addition to her academic role, Jenny serves the Methodist Church as the Youth Faith Formation Lead, where she develops and leads programming for 16–18-year-olds as they explore what it means to learn and live the way of Christ in today's world. She is passionate about helping young people (and all people) know God's story of love in their lives.
Jenny lives in Calver, Derbyshire with her husband, Richie, their three daughters, and their two golden retrievers. You will often find Jenny and her family exploring new sights, reading books, and practicing artwork. Jenny also loves all things lemon and pumpkin (but not together!).
