The Awesome venue is back open for another AWESOME weekend together! For children aged 5–11 we have a fun weekend packed full of songs, games, crafts, activities, sketches, Bible teaching and so much more.
About Awesome
Our AWESOME venue is the best venue for your young people aged 5 – 11. Throughout the weekend we meet every day for fun, singing songs, dancing, games, gunging leaders, Bible teaching, prayer, hilarious sketches and so much more.
My child absolutely loved Awesome and was desperate not to miss any sessions. We had only planned to attend the mornings, but he begged us to let him stay for the evening and loved every minute!

Information for parents
Awesome will run two sessions per day - a morning session from 9:45am-12:15pm and an evening session from 6:45-8:15pm. Drop-off opens 15 minutes before the session starts, and you will need to register any children attending before they come into the venue. We will provide a nut-free snack mid-morning for the children, but ask that you provide them with a labelled drink for the morning and evening sessions.
As ever, we take the safety and security of the children in our care very seriously. Please put as much information as possible on the registration form – or speak to us in person when you arrive – so that we can prepare to meet your children’s needs effectively. We have an excellent SEN team, so please do include any relevant information about any additional needs your child has.
Registration can be done prior to your arrival via the online form you have received by email, or on arrival at Festival via Reception. If you have booked children's tickets for Festival and have not received a link to register your children for their sessions, please email us at festival@cliffcollege.ac.uk or send us a message on the website.
If you have any questions about the venue or about children's work prior to attending Festival, please contact us by email at festival@cliffcollege.ac.uk or call us on 01246 584200.
We're really happy to have children with additional needs in our venue at Festival - it helps us to know as much about each child's needs before the start of the event, so we can plan well to include them in as many activities as possible. We have included some information about the venue, sessions and resources below to help you prepare your child for their visit to Awesome; if you would like further information, please contact us at festival@cliffcollege.ac.uk and we'll be able to help you.
Groups and Team Leaders
When you arrive at Awesome, you will be signed in by your parent/carer. Then you'll be introduced to your team leader and to the children in your team. We have three teams in Awesome - Yellow, Blue and Red - and your team will mostly be made up of children around the same age as you. Your team leader will look after you and the rest of your team throughout the Awesome sessions over the weekend. If you have any questions during Awesome, need to use the toilet or need help with something, your team leader is the person to talk to.
