The Awesome venue is back open for another AWESOME weekend together! For children aged 5–11 we have a fun weekend packed full of songs, games, crafts, activities, sketches, Bible teaching and so much more.
About Awesome
Each day we have two sessions, an action-packed morning and a slightly more chilled evening. We will be embarking on our own Rerouted adventure learning about characters in the Bible whose lives were rerouted by God and learning how God still works to reroute lives today! We will be joined by two friends, heading out an adventure, being rerouted on the way, I wonder what they will learn on their journey? Join us to find out!
In each of our sessions we will sing our theme song (which all our parents and guardians get to hear from your young ones), messy games, Bible teaching and prayer, with lots of singing and dancing. Our morning sessions have rotations where we will be doing some crafts, joined by some guests for games and watching some VeggieTales! The evening sessions are slightly more chilled with a nice relaxing bedtime story followed by some gunge for our lucky leaders!
We are so excited to welcome you and for you to come along and get involved doing some Awesome activities!
My child absolutely loved Awesome and was desperate not to miss any sessions. We had only planned to attend the mornings, but he begged us to let him stay for the evening and loved every minute!

Information for parents
Awesome will run two sessions per day - a morning session from 9:45am-12:15pm and an evening session from 6:45-8:15pm. Drop-off opens 15 minutes before the session starts, and you will need to register any children attending before they come into the venue. We will provide a nut-free snack mid-morning for the children, but ask that you provide them with a labelled drink for the morning and evening sessions.
As ever, we take the safety and security of the children in our care very seriously. Please put as much information as possible on the registration form – or speak to us in person when you arrive – so that we can prepare to meet your children’s needs effectively. We have an excellent SEN team, so please do include any relevant information about any additional needs your child has.
If you have any questions about the venue or about children's work prior to attending Festival, please contact festival@cliffcollege.ac.uk.
