Carolyn is the Diocesan Children and Young People’s Advisor for the York Diocese of the Church of England. Prior to this, she was the BA Mission and Ministry Programme Leader at Cliff College, before which she had been Deputy Director of CYM Oxford & Senior Tutor in Children and Family work. She has over 25 years’ experience both in the area of evangelism and mission with Scripture Union, and as Children’s Evangelist for her church. She has been lecturing for many years, firstly in the field of marketing, the subject of her first degree, and for the last 12 years in children’s and youth ministry.
Author of ‘Slugs and Snails and Puppy Dogs Tales’, the popular version of her MA research into boys’ spirituality. Carolyn is also an Alumni of the college, having first completed her HE Diploma in Children’s Evangelism and Nurture (on the BAMM programme) in 2001, and is currently working on her PhD in children’s spirituality. She is passionate about family and friends, good coffee, and looking at beautiful things!
