The Bible and Politics

9-10pm

We believe that the Bible has had and should have a huge influence on the UK’s public and political discourse. But can we just cut and paste scripture into legislation? Or have we been guilty of cutting and running? Amidst the complexity of policy and the toxicity of the public square, we’ll explore how we can allow the wisdom of scripture to permeate the world of 2024 and some resources to help us in this task.

In conversation about Hidden Treasures

9:30-10:15pm

It can feel challenging to follow God when the way ahead seems less clear, but God’s hidden treasures are present, often in the most unexpected places and unexpected people. Grab a mocktail, listen, bring your questions and share ideas as we delve deeper into the presidential theme this year, hidden treasures, with Gill Newton. Hosted by Mollie Pugmire.
