Monday 29 May
9-9:30am | Kick Start | Bring the whole family along and kick start the day with some high-energy fun! We'll explore the theme of Eden Restored through the story of Jonah - there will poetry, praise, pirates, parrots, puns and lots, lots more! |
10-11am | Bible Study with Ruth Valerio | Our Bible studies this year will look at 'Eden Restored' by starting at the very beginning, in Genesis 1, and exploring what it tells us about our relationship with God, with one another and with the wider created world. Monday's session will focus on our relationship with the wider creation, through Genesis 1 and then through the Scriptures. We will look at the key issues we face today, what actions we can take to respond, and what 'Eden Restored' means in the light of the promise of 'new heavens and new earth'. |
11:15am-12:15pm | Anniversary Celebration with the President and Vice-President of Conference | Join us for worship and teaching with Graham Thompson and Anthony Boateng, the President and Vice-President of Methodist Conference 2022-23. |
2-3pm | Our Atlantic Roots | Mac and Laura Johnston bring an uplifting blend of American & British alt-folk, with rich and dynamic harmonies. Mac’s characterful guitar playing accompanies lyrics that are poetic and direct, hopeful and authentic and most importantly are rooted in their faith. |
7-8:30pm | Evening Celebration with Bejoy Pal | Join us for an evening of worship, prayer and preaching. Hosted by Ashley Cooper and Phoebe Parkin and with worship from Matt Beckingham. |
8:30-9:30pm | Extended Worship with Matt Beckingham | Don’t rush off after our evening celebration – spend the last few hours of Cliff Festival 2023 worshipping in the presence of God. Led by Matt Beckingham and the band. |
